CATering Duck – wet cat food with 97% meat, offal and broth

Duck is a poultry meat with a darker color and deeper aroma than classic chicken – naturally richer in heme iron and myoglobin. CATering Duck is made of 97% meat, offal and broth in a delicious mousse – nothing unnecessary, nothing cut short.

CATering Duck fits perfectly into current nutritional trends – it is characterized by a low carbohydrate content (7.6% on a dry matter basis) and phosphorus coming exclusively from organic sources (0.76% on a dry matter basis). Will CATering Duck mousse be ideal for your cat?

Duck – dark, aromatic meat
Duck is a poultry meat with a darker, more intense character than chicken or turkey – naturally richer in iron and myoglobin, with a deeper, more meaty aroma. It is a good choice when your cat digests poultry well, but lighter meat no longer appeals to them aromatically. In the PERROland world, every purring pet will find its flavor – the CATering line also includes 11 other flavors.

Cat with food intolerance / allergy sufferer
A single source of animal protein in every flavor. Duck is a poultry meat with a different meat profile than chicken or turkey – a good direction when more popular flavors have not worked in the diet, while the cat still tolerates poultry protein.

Cat with sensitive kidneys
Phosphorus is exclusively organic, 0.16% in the wet matter (0.76% in dry matter) – safely below 1% in dry matter, as in all CATering flavors.

Cat that drinks too little
Cats have a limited sense of thirst. CATering Duck has a moisture content of 79%, which almost fully covers the daily water requirement. Choosing the right feeding model for cats can be just as important as the food's composition itself.

Picky / neophobic cat
Mousse texture, optimal fat level (~27.6% on a dry matter basis) as a carrier of aroma and flavor. For maximum palatability, serve the food at room temperature. Serving it directly from the fridge may reduce aroma intensity and flavor appeal. Duck has a deeper, more meaty aroma than classic chicken – a good option when light poultry no longer works aromatically.

Cat with a predisposition to diabetes or insulin resistance
Carbohydrates at 7.6% on a dry matter basis – low content, with no grains or fillers. Helpful in stabilizing glycemia without restricting food intake.

Senior cat
Taurine at 2400 mg/kg supports the heart and eyesight – especially important in older cats. Organic phosphorus below 1% on a dry matter basis reduces the load on kidneys, which work harder with age. High moisture supports the urinary tract. The mousse is easier to eat for cats with dental problems. Dark duck meat naturally contains more heme iron than other poultry options – valuable support for older cats with declining muscle mass.

Neutered cat
Neutering changes metabolism – neutered cats have lower energy needs and a higher risk of excess weight. Low carbohydrate content (7.6% on a dry matter basis) and no fillers help you calmly control your pet's weight. Organic phosphorus below 1% on a dry matter basis – urinary tract prevention.

Cat on a rotational diet
12 flavors in the line, each with one source of animal protein. Rotating different proteins reduces the risk of food intolerances and diversifies the diet. Duck brings darker poultry meat to the rotation – aromatic, rich in heme iron.

Why is CATering duck wet food a good choice?

Grain-free – low carbohydrate content
A cat is an obligate carnivore and has a low ability to digest grains or starch. Its energy needs are covered by protein and fat, and it produces the missing glucose itself through gluconeogenesis. In CATering Duck, carbohydrate content is only 7.6% on a dry matter basis – no grains, no fillers, no compromises.

Phosphorus – exclusively organic, below 1% on a dry matter basis
Excess phosphorus burdens the kidneys, which is why not only the amount matters, but also its source. In CATering Duck, phosphorus comes exclusively from meat and offal (organic phosphorus), and its level – 0.16% in wet matter and 0.76% in dry matter – falls within a safe range. No added inorganic phosphates*. The calcium-to-phosphorus ratio is 1.4:1 – within the norm for a healthy adult cat.
* Inorganic phosphorus – added to many foods in the form of phosphates – burdens the kidneys and may lead to damage of the renal tubules.

Taurine – healthy heart, eyesight and nervous system
Cats produce taurine in insufficient amounts – its level in the body depends almost entirely on what they eat. We supplement 2400 mg/kg – above the FEDIAF minimum, for a healthy heart, good eyesight and a properly functioning nervous system of your pet.

A single duck protein source – dark poultry
Each can of CATering Duck contains animal protein exclusively from duck. Duck is a different class of protein within poultry, useful when a cat digests poultry meat well, but chicken or turkey no longer works aromatically.

Heme iron and myoglobin – natural support from dark meat
Dark duck meat naturally has a higher content of myoglobin (the protein that transports oxygen in muscles) and heme iron than light poultry meat. Heme iron plays an important role in maintaining proper oxygen transport, energy condition and muscle function in cats.

Psyllium – soluble fiber for digestion
Psyllium in the composition is not an accidental addition – it acts as soluble fiber that regulates intestinal function, binds water and helps maintain proper stool consistency. Discreetly, but effectively.

79% moisture – daily hydration
Cats have a weak thirst drive – in nature they hydrate mainly through their prey. CATering Duck is daily support for the urinary tract, without having to monitor whether your cat drinks from the bowl. The 79% moisture content almost fully covers the daily water requirement.

Flavorful mousse – fat as a carrier of aroma
Cats choose food primarily by smell – aroma is the first and most important filter, even before taste. The mousse texture and optimal fat level (~27.6% on a dry matter basis) carry an aroma that your cat will not miss. Duck has one of the deepest, most meaty aromas among the poultry flavors in the line – a clear aromatic signal for a cat that is picky about other flavors.

Cuisine for picky palates
The CATering line was created with picky pets in mind. For cats with food neophobia, it is worth introducing a new flavor gradually: try PERROland broths as a transition between the old and the new flavor.

Composition
97% duck (68% muscle meat, 17% offal (11% gizzards, 6% liver), 12% duck broth), 1% psyllium, 1% vitamins and minerals, 1% salmon oil.

Single source of animal protein. Zero grains, zero fillers.

Divide the recommended amount of food into 4–5 meals per day. Keep in mind that feeding recommendations may vary depending on the cat's age, condition and temperament. Always provide fresh, clean drinking water.

Store in a dry and cool place, away from sunlight. After opening, refrigerate and use within 48 hours.

Serve at room temperature – warmth brings out the food's aroma, attracting the cat to the bowl. Food straight from the fridge, despite its ideal composition, may be ignored by your cat.
