CATering Lamb
Lamb is a delicate, easily digestible red meat valued for its high nutritional value and excellent digestibility. The CATering Lamb wet food recipe contains as much as 97% meat, offal and broth, creating an exceptionally tasty mousse with no unnecessary additives. It is also one of the variants with the lowest carbohydrate content in the entire CATering line – just 4.8% on a dry matter basis – and with phosphorus coming exclusively from organic sources (0.76% on a dry matter basis).
Will CATering Lamb mousse be suitable for your cat?
Lamb is an easily digestible red meat with light offal (lungs and liver), offering a gentle profile for a sensitive digestive system. At the same time, it has one of the lowest carbohydrate levels in the line (4.8% on a dry matter basis), making lamb a good choice for diabetes and insulin resistance. In the land of PERROland, every purring pet will find something for themselves – the CATering line also offers 11 other flavors.
Cat with food intolerance / allergy
A single animal protein source in every flavor. Lamb with easily digestible offal (lungs and liver) has a gentle profile – a good choice for cats whose digestive systems react to more intense proteins.
Cat with sensitive kidneys
Phosphorus is exclusively organic, 0.16% in wet matter (0.76% in dry matter) – safely below 1%, as in all CATering flavors.
Cat prone to diabetes or insulin resistance
Carbohydrates at 4.8% on a dry matter basis – one of the lowest carbohydrate levels in the line. Helpful in stabilizing glycemia without restricting food intake.
Cat after neutering / overweight cat
Neutering changes metabolism – neutered cats have lower energy needs and a higher risk of excess weight. Easily digestible meat and low carbohydrate content (4.8% on a dry matter basis) help control weight without starving your pet. Organic phosphorus stays below 1% on a dry matter basis, supporting urinary tract health – neutered cats are more prone to urinary issues.
Picky / neophobic cat
The mousse texture and optimal fat level (~25.7% on a dry matter basis) act as carriers of aroma and flavor. For maximum palatability, serve the food at room temperature. Serving it straight from the fridge may reduce aroma intensity and taste appeal. Lamb has a delicate, distinctive aroma – an excellent option for cats bored with classic flavors.
Senior cat
Taurine at 2400 mg/kg supports the heart and eyesight. Organic phosphorus below 1% on a dry matter basis relieves the kidneys, which work harder with age. High moisture content supports the urinary system. The mousse is easier to eat for cats with dental problems. Easily digestible lamb meat and moderate calorie content (1006 kcal/kg) match the lower energy needs of seniors.
Cat on a rotational diet
12 flavors in the line, each with a single animal protein source. Rotating different proteins reduces the risk of food intolerances and diet monotony. Lamb is a natural addition to the rotation for cats already familiar with poultry and fish.
Why is CATering lamb wet food a good choice for your cat?
Grain-free – one of the lowest carbohydrate contents among the flavor variants offered in the CATering line
Cats are obligate carnivores – their bodies have a low ability to digest grains or starch. Their diet is based mainly on proteins and fats. In CATering Lamb, carbohydrates account for only 4.8% on a dry matter basis. No grains, no fillers, no compromises.
Phosphorus – exclusively organic, below 1% on a dry matter basis
Excess phosphorus burdens the kidneys, which is why not only the amount but also the source matters. In CATering Lamb, phosphorus comes exclusively from meat and offal (organic source), and its level – 0.16% in wet matter and 0.76% in dry matter – safely stays below 1%. The calcium-to-phosphorus ratio of 1.4:1 is within the norm for a healthy adult cat.
Taurine – healthy heart, eyesight and nervous system
Cats produce taurine in insufficient amounts – its level in the body depends almost entirely on what they eat. We supplement 2400 mg/kg, above the FEDIAF minimum, because your pet's healthy heart, good eyesight and efficient nervous system cannot depend on chance.
A single lamb protein source – easily digestible meat for a sensitive digestive system
Each can of CATering Lamb contains only one source of animal protein. The lungs and liver in the recipe are naturally easy to digest and gentler for cats with sensitive digestive systems. A single animal protein source allows precise diet control – essential for diagnosing food intolerances and for elimination diets.
Psyllium – soluble fiber for digestion
Psyllium in the recipe is not an accidental addition – it acts as a soluble fiber that regulates intestinal function, binds water and helps maintain proper stool consistency.
Tasty mousse – fat as a carrier of aroma
Cats choose food primarily by smell – aroma is the first and most important filter, even before taste. The mousse texture and optimal fat level (~25.7% on a dry matter basis) carry an aroma that the cat will not miss. Lamb has a delicate, distinctive aroma – well received by cats.
Cuisine for picky palates
The CATering line was created for cats with food neophobia, for whom new flavors should be introduced gradually. Broths from the Soups line and Toppers sprinkles will support the transition between the old and new flavor.
Composition
97% lamb (68% muscle meat, 17% offal (11% lungs, 6% liver), 12% lamb broth), 1% psyllium, 1% vitamins and minerals, 1% salmon oil.
Single source of animal protein. Zero grains, zero fillers.
Divide the recommended daily amount into 4–5 meals a day. Please note that feeding recommendations may vary depending on the cat's age, condition and temperament. Make sure your cat always has access to fresh, clean drinking water.
Store in a dry and cool place, away from sunlight. After opening, refrigerate and use within 48 hours.
Serve at room temperature – warmth releases the aroma of the food and attracts the cat to the bowl. Food straight from the fridge, despite its ideal composition, may be ignored by the cat.
