CATering Turkey – wet cat food 97%
There are cats that react exceptionally strongly to turkey meat and stay by the bowl until the very last bite. CATering Turkey wet food contains 97% turkey meat, offal, and broth in a tasty mousse.
CATering Turkey is the poultry recipe with the highest calorie content in the entire CATering line – 1096 kcal/kg – and a rich meaty aroma. It also fits perfectly into current nutrition trends: it is low in carbohydrates (7.3% on a dry matter basis) and contains phosphorus from exclusively organic sources (0.73% on a dry matter basis).
Will CATering Turkey mousse be the right choice for your cat?
Turkey is an alternative poultry protein to chicken – the highest calorie content in the CATering line (1096 kcal/kg) makes this food especially suitable for active cats, during recovery, or for cats with a poor appetite that need a smaller portion to meet their daily needs. In the land of PERROland, every purring pet will find its flavor – the CATering line includes as many as 12 of them.
Cats with food intolerances / allergy sufferers
All CATering products are monoprotein and contain a single source of animal protein.
Cats with sensitive kidneys
Phosphorus from organic sources only, 0.16% as fed (0.73% dry matter) – safely below 1%, as in all CATering flavors.
Picky / neophobic cats
Mousse texture and an optimal fat level (~29% on a dry matter basis) as a carrier of aroma and flavor. For maximum palatability, serve the food at room temperature. Serving it directly from the refrigerator may reduce the intensity of the aroma and taste. Turkey has a richer, more intense aroma than chicken – worth trying when the classic poultry flavor no longer interests your pet.
Active cats / recovery period
The highest calorie content in the line (1096 kcal/kg) and 6.4% fat provide practical energy density – smaller portions for the same daily calorie requirement. Suitable for cats that need quick energy support: active cats, after illness, during convalescence, or with a poor appetite.
Senior cats
Taurine at 2400 mg/kg supports heart and vision health – especially important in older cats. Organic phosphorus below 1% helps reduce the burden on kidneys, which become more demanding with age. High moisture supports the urinary system. The mousse is easier to eat for cats with dental problems. High calorie content (1096 kcal/kg) helps maintain body weight in seniors that start eating less.
Cats on a rotational diet
12 flavors in the line, each with one source of animal protein. Rotating different proteins reduces the risk of food intolerances and dietary monotony. Turkey is the safest next option in rotation after chicken – still a poultry protein source, but a different species.
Why is CATering Turkey wet food a good choice for your cat?
Grain-free – low carbohydrate content
Cats are obligate carnivores – their bodies have a poor ability to digest grains or starch. In CATering Turkey, carbohydrate content is only 7.3% on a dry matter basis – no grains, no fillers, no compromises.
Phosphorus – exclusively organic, below 1% on a dry matter basis
Excess phosphorus burdens the kidneys, which is why not only its amount but also its source matters. In CATering Turkey, phosphorus comes exclusively from meat and offal (an organic phosphorus source), and its level – 0.16% as fed and 0.73% on a dry matter basis – remains safely below 1%. The calcium-to-phosphorus ratio is 1.4:1 – within the normal range for a healthy adult cat.
Taurine – healthy heart, vision and nervous system
Cats produce insufficient amounts of taurine – its level in the body depends almost entirely on what they eat. We supplement 2400 mg/kg, above the FEDIAF minimum, because your pet's healthy heart, good vision and proper nervous system function cannot be left to chance.
Highest energy density in the line – 1096 kcal/kg
The energy value of 1096 kcal/kg makes CATering Turkey the most nutrient-dense food in the entire CATering line. In practical terms, this means smaller portions for the same daily calorie requirement – suitable for active cats, during recovery, or after illness.
Psyllium husk – soluble fiber for digestion
Psyllium husk in the formula is not a random addition – it works as soluble fiber that regulates bowel function, binds water and helps maintain proper stool consistency.
Tasty mousse – fat as a carrier of aroma
Cats choose food primarily by smell – aroma is the first and most important filter, even before taste. The mousse texture and optimal fat level (~29% on a dry matter basis) carry an aroma that cats won't miss. Turkey has an intense scent, which may help attract cats that are bored with a classic flavor.
Cuisine for picky feline palates
The CATering line was created for cats with food neophobia, for whom a new flavor should be introduced gradually. The Soups line broths will support the transition between the old and the new taste.
Composition: 97% turkey (68% muscle meat, 17% offal (11% gizzards, 6% liver), 12% turkey broth), 1% psyllium husk, 1% vitamins and minerals, 1% salmon oil.
Single source of animal protein. Zero grains, zero fillers.
Divide the recommended amount of food into 4–5 meals per day. Please remember that feeding recommendations may vary depending on the cat's age, condition and temperament. The cat should always have access to fresh, clean drinking water.
Store in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight. After opening, refrigerate and use within 48 hours.
Serve at room temperature – warmth releases the food's aroma and attracts the cat to the bowl. Food straight from the refrigerator, despite its ideal composition, may be ignored by the cat.
