Complete Cold-Pressed Dog Food – Lamb

When switching from extruded to cold-pressed food, a gradual transition over 7–10 days is recommended. The two types differ in digestion – cold-pressed food dissolves in the stomach, while extruded food swells. A sudden change may cause digestive issues, so the transition should be slow and controlled.

Cold-pressed food for puppies and young dogs is formulated to meet their specific developmental needs:

• Controlled protein levels – highly digestible protein supports muscle growth while preventing excessive bone elongation and joint strain.
• Glucosamine and chondroitin – essential for healthy joint and cartilage development.
• Beta-glucans – strengthen the developing immune system.
• Unsaturated fatty acids – support nervous and immune system development and help reduce stress, especially during socialization periods.
• Biotin and zinc – promote healthy skin and a shiny coat.
• High nutrient concentration – small portions with high nutritional density reduce the risk of gastric torsion.

The cold-pressing process, involving low-temperature drying followed by gentle compression into pellets, preserves natural nutrients such as amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that might otherwise be destroyed by heat.

A natural characteristic of cold-pressed food is a fine meal powder formed from the pellets. This is not a defect – it has the same composition and nutritional value as the pellets. It can be fed as is or mixed with water to create a porridge-like texture.

Feeding and Storage Instructions:

Feed according to your dog’s condition, ensuring constant access to fresh water.
Do not use scoops intended for extruded food – cold-pressed food is much denser, so feeding amounts should be measured by weight (see table below).
Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight.
