Veterinary diet dry food for dogs – liver support

VetExpert Hepatic Dog is a complete veterinary diet formulated for adult dogs requiring nutritional support in cases of chronic liver disease. The diet is designed to support normal liver function and to reduce excessive copper accumulation in the body.

The formula contains selected functional ingredients, including artichoke extract and phospholipids, which support liver cell regeneration. A moderate level of high-quality protein combined with highly digestible energy sources helps reduce metabolic stress on the liver. Reduced copper content and increased zinc levels contribute to the protection of hepatocytes.

Indications:

• chronic liver insufficiency
• reduction of copper accumulation in the liver
• portosystemic shunt
• hepatic encephalopathy

Contraindications:

• pancreatitis or predisposition to pancreatitis
• puppies
• pregnant and lactating females
• cats
• dogs requiring enteral feeding
